The City of Louisiana and the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development functions as the bureau responsible for facilitating development and redevelopment Citywide. Department activities are intended to cultivate and grow local enterprises, expand and branch out the existing economic base, and attract new business entities to the community and surrounding areas. Each of these activities is tracked with the objective of supporting the City of Louisiana’s exceptional quality of life through an accentuation of the City's economic assets (land, labor, capital, and entrepreneurship).
